Did you guys here about that detectorists who found the biggest saxon gold hoard ever found ??!!!! Shocked Very Happy

What a lucky guy. and he brought his detector for 2.50 at a car boot sale !!!

Yes first time I have heard an archeoligist praise the metal detectorist Cool , saying that if it wasn't for the detectorist the treasure would have been shredded by the plough and lost to mankind. Crying or Very sad
there is probably treasure to be found over here as well, but deeper in the soil or the plough would have bought it to the top already. Smile
