GST..............

My new GT is now in the Island but Customs won't let me have it until I pay GST and thats on top of paying UK vat as Joan allen cocked that up, Surely we shouldn't have to pay GST on Hobby products it's so wrong

if you can prove you paid VAT they might let you off with the gst , but not sure, we are all going to get skinned by those robbing bas---ds for the rest of our lives, gst will soon be at 15% or more

I know it's only about £27.00 I have to pay but they won't get my cheque till monday then that will take 3 days to clear so it could be the week after before I get it.

When it goes up to 15% then your right Ken we are totally screwed

One of our members works there,
he may be able to advise if there is any way to waive the tax,
but it will be because Joan Allen put the correct price on
the customs cn22 sticker thats whats done it!
if the unit could have been sent in seperate packages of lower value you wouldent have to pay

im having same prob with ebay sales having to put lower value on the forms so clients dont have to pay uk VAT on my stuff

Well I had to pay in full but at least I was able to get the GT today, took it on my test bed and it is a little more powerful than my xs2a was, just need to get used to the sounds again
