Bottle Digging? Empty Bottle Digging?

Post  troysten Fri Mar 02, 2012 5:50 pm

Afternoon All,

I know it is not technically the correct forum but happened to know if any of you have any information regardiig bottle digging on the island? I've started collecting glass bottles (love them!) but would really like to be able to "find" some of my own rather than just buying.

Has anyone any contacts in Jersey or any good tips? Can't seem to find anything on Google!

Look forward to hearing from any of you.

Bottle Digging? Empty Re: Bottle Digging?

I found three bottles this afternoon, but only one worth keeping, Bromleys cough rub, probably for cows though as I dug it up on the farm, but finding bottle dumps over here is not easy, (it helps if your a builder and digging foundations) there are two I know of that others also know, one at Fliquet bay and the other at gorey castle green both accessed via the beach, but you cannot dig you have to wait for the bank at both of these to subside, it happens occasionaly after heavy rain> good luck Cool study study
