I am sight impaired and would like to know which is the best detector to buy?

Hi everyone. I am visually impaired and would love to take up detecting as I have a great love of history however I don't know which detector would be best for me. I am encouraged by the fact that audible beeps alert users to the presence of finds but would like to know whether the visuals which appear on some pieces of equipment would remain visible if the detector was lifted to eye level so that the information could be viewed through a magnifier. Does anyone have any ideas about this or any other ideas about equipment which would be especially useful to someone with very poor sight?
I should also like to know whether any training opportunities exist within this society.
