New Detector

Just ordered a new Sovereign GT from Joan Allen, not had a Sov since my xs2a pro back in 93 so looking forward to getting on the beaches again, any one else in jersey got the GT

I think dereck egre has one, he has fitted a extra large coil to it.

I really regret getting rid of mine, I had it on a straight shaft and it loved the little silvers, going to keep the gmp for inland

He loves his GT as well, went out a couple of days ago, had a few old copper bits and what looks like a cruciform brooch from the sixth or seventh century, it will probably turn out to be a furniture fitting but I am going to drop it to Olga and see what she thinks.
nothing much else to impart but I think the GMP prefers damp soil conditions, have had a couple of coins at 6" or more this week.
